Hi there! Welcome to ED Recovery Hub. My name is Julie. I’m a midlife wife and mother living in Australia who first developed anorexia nervosa when I was 15. This morphed into a cycle of binge eating, restriction and compulsive exercise for several decades. At the age of 40, I met an incredible coach who was the catalyst for a significant breakthrough in my recovery – the one and only Tabitha Farrar.
I decided to create ED Recovery Hub as I was finding it increasingly difficult to find a safe and supportive place to go on the internet to help me in my own recovery. I often felt triggered when reading and watching recovery related content. I wanted somewhere to go to be inspired and motivated to continue along the recovery path, hence the creation of ED Recovery Hub.
It is my hope that you will feel supported and encouraged to remain committed to your recovery. You deserve to live a full, meaningful and joyful life, free from the chains of your eating disorder.

In addition to providing free resources, I am now offering eating disorder recovery sessions for anyone who is looking for support from someone who truly understands. If this is something that you are interested in, reach out to me at edrecoveryhub@gmail.com.

Please note that a great deal of the information on this website and in my social media posts has been acquired from the professionals I've personally seen throughout my recovery journey, books and posts I've read, courses I've completed, and groups I've been a part of. I do not always know where I've acquired certain information. I always endeavour to reference wherever possible. If you notice something on my website or in my social media posts that has not been referenced, please reach out to me at edrecoveryhub@gmail.com.
